Britain’s coronavirus death toll hits 240 as seven more succumb to killer bug in Wales
BRITAIN’S death toll has now risen to 240 today – after seven more coronavirus patients died in Wales. It takes the number dead from the killer virus there to 12, as more than 5,000 cases have been reported in the UK.
It was revealed yesterday a 41-year-old died after contracting the disease, becoming the UK’s youngest victim.
In the biggest 24-hour leap yet, 56 new deaths were recorded for the whole of the country yesterday. more …
